Brawl Stars, Supercell 's free-to-play mobile action game features many different game modes and fighters. Through our various articles, we've brought you guides to some of the famous brawlers. Here we take a look at Gale, a chromatic brawler with some very interesting original gameplay . In the long run, it can become one of the most powerful brawlers in the game. We explain that in this guide to mastering Gale in Brawl Stars! ⭐️
As we explained in our Brawl Stars beginner's guide, 7 brawlers are unlockable via your trophy progress. For the other fighters, you must be patient and pray every time you open a Brawl box. Gale falls into this category. Even worse, as a chromatic brawler, he can quickly become very difficult to unlock. Chromatic brawlers start with a drop rate equivalent to the legendary rarity in the boxes (i.e. 0.12%). Rest assured, this rate increases with each new season until it reaches the epic brawler achievement rate of 0.5% 😉
At first glance, Gale's stats are very low. However, as we will see, some of his abilities can make him very useful. Whatever happens, Gale will have to be used as a support. He can only prove his worthwith good teammates (ideally a heavyweight and a healer).
Gale's health point level is low compared to the average Brawler. From 3,600 at first level, he will only reach 4,760 health points at level 10. These stats confirm him as a Brawler to be used as support.
Galel's " normal " movement speed, places him in the low average range of Brawl Stars characters. Gale moves at 2.4 squares per second. It will be necessary to manage the movements of the brawler.
Gale'spolar vortex has some interesting properties. He launches a volley of 6 snowballs. While their damage is very low (from 280 points per ball to 504 at level 10), their properties can make Gale's attack very interesting. His very fast reload speed makes him one of the fastest reloading brawlers. By linking well, Gale can strongly annoy his opponents or finish one of them.
The "long" range of Gale's attack is certainly the main asset of his attack. At 8 squares, it is one of the longest attack ranges in the game and can hit opponents far away.
Finally, Gale's Super, is an attack that offers unique possibilities in the game. Indeed, thanks to his gust of wind, Gale launches a wide and powerful gust. The latter hits the opponents up to 10 squares away. Moreover, the latter will be pushed back if they are 6 squares or less away. Furthermore, the super only recharges after 9 snowball hits, so it can recharge very quickly if you hit several opponents with your polar vortex. Finally, it is important to note that Gale's super can pass through walls.
Like Jacky, Gale will not have a choice for his gadget when he reaches level 7. This gadget, called the Spring Block, allows Gale to create a springboard that allows all brawlers to move quickly. Some of the abilities of this gadget make it very powerful. It is important to note that its direction will be Gale's direction at the time he uses it. Also, the springboard stays on the map indefinitely (unless you cast a new one).
As a support, it is not recommended to use Gale in the single player survival mode. However, due to his abilities, he can adapt to all team modes. His long range and excellent reload speed make him one of the most effective brawlers for map control. Add to that the width of his attacks, which allow him to hit several opponents at once, and Gale is a great support in Brawl Stars.
With Gale, you should not hesitate to abuse its super. This one reloads very quickly, so it can be used a lot. Pushing opponents out of range of the gems, finding an opponent hidden behind a wall or fleeing a hand-to-hand fight, the possibilities are numerous.
However, don't forget that Gale is a support. He is a great help to his team, but never venture into battle alone. Finally, we note that his super does not have the ability to repel your opponents' summons (turrets, bears, etc.). So be careful and strategic and you will quickly understand the power of Gale.
