Diablo Immortal Beginner Guide

Diablo Immortal Beginner Guide

Are you new to Diablo Immortal or just getting started with the MMO? We'll help you get started with this Diablo Immortal guide. We'll show you how to gain experience and power quickly. We'll take this opportunity to introduce you to Diablo Immortal's classes, the different activities, and give you tips on how to get the most out of your game experience.

Choose your class in Diablo Immortal

Diablo Immortal classes

To get started with Diablo Immortal, we recommend that you choose a class that you like, because you'll spend a lot of time with it. In fact, all classes are equal with the right build. Choose the gameplay that appeals to you the most. Barbarian and Crusader are tough, hand-to-hand combatants and powerful in AoE. Demon Hunter, Wizard and Necromancer will mainly attack from a distance. Finally, Monk fights using martial arts and is particularly mobile.

We've prepared a complete guide to each of the Diablo Immortal classes to help you better understand their gameplay, strengths and weaknesses.

Guide Diablo Immortal : Improve and manage your equipment

Diablo Immortal equipment

As with all Diablo games, equipment is an important part of the game. To progress in the game, you will need to increase your combat score.

To see your combat score, click on your character's portrait, then attribute, then more attributes.

When you first start playing Diablo Immortal, use the equipment marked with a green arrow in your inventory to gain power without really worrying about their effects and statistics.

Then look at the main attributes of the weapons. Each attribute point confers 1 combat score. Depending on the type of character you have chosen, you will have to favour one attribute in particular (intelligence for Necromancers or Wizards and strength for Barbarians, Demon Hunters, Crusaders and Monks). But, at first, quantity will be more profitable than quality; prefer the attributes with the highest numerical value.

You can improve rare and legendary items at the blacksmith's shop. Just talk to him, click on Services, then Enhance.

In this beginner's guide Diablo Immortal we advise you to upgrade your items regularly. If you find something better later on, you can transfer all your upgrades by simply changing your equipment, and this in an unlimited way. This is a good way to gain power. The same goes for gems.

Diablo Immortal Battle Pass

Diablo Immortal Guide: Battle Pass

Battle Pass gives you access to many rewards in Diablo Immortal, including a significant gain in experience. There is a free version, but also a paid version that allows you to double the rewards obtained. The progression of your Battle Pass is not shared between your different characters. Likewise, if you invest in the paid version, it will only apply to one character.

Battle Pass has 40 levels and is renewed every season. You will earn battle points by completing various activities: quests, battlefields, Bestiary, bounties, Rifts and dungeons. The guide tab shows you the features of the game to get you started in Diablo Immortal.

To maximise your experience gain, it is best to use the Battle Pass at the right time. The number of experience points you gain is proportional to your level. We advise you to wait until you are at least level 30-40.

The different daily activities

In order to gain experience and power quickly, there are several ways to do so, starting with following the story quest. In this beginner's guide Diablo Immortal , we detail the activities to focus on from the start of the game.

Premiums

Premium panel

You can make up to 8 per day. Simply go to the bounty panel to accept them, then return to the panel to complete them. For every 4 bounties you complete, you will earn an additional loot box.

You can accumulate premiums for 3 days, i.e. 24 premiums in total. But this number is reset to 8 every Monday morning.

The dungeons

The dungeons of Diablo Immortal are ideal for looting equipment and earning XP points quickly. They are unlocked as you progress through the different regions. You can view the available dungeons in your Battle Pass. During your progress, hidden lairs may appear, which are mini-dungeons, with the entrance at a random location.

The bestiary

The bestiary

Diablo Immortal Bestiary gives you access to permanent bonuses and lots of experience. You unlock it on theHoradic Altar. It consists of 104 pages. To unlock it, you must collect 10 Monstrous essens. This action unlocks a page at random and gives permanent bonuses (health points, damage, etc.).

To obtain Monstrous essens in Diablo Immortal, you simply need to kill enemies, which you can then randomly loot. You can unlock a maximum of 3 pages per day. Also, you can't store more than 10 Monstrous essens at a time.

Remember to farm Monstrous essens every day. And a little tip: when you kill the monsters requested by the bounties, you will already have the opportunity to collect a certain number of them.

The Rifts

Diablo Immortal offers two types of rifts: Challenge Rifts and Elder Rifts. You can find out more about them in this Diablo Immortal guide:

Challenge Rift Entry
  • Challenge Rifts currently range from level 1 to level 200. You must kill as many monsters as possible in order to fill the progress gauge and make the boss appear. Time is of the essence. Once you have completed the level, you will be rewarded with several achievements. The higher the level, the more important they will be. Every 5 levels you have a small chance to loot a legendary item.
  • Elder Rifts unlock at level 27 and take the form of a random dungeon with a boss at the end. You can access them from Elder Rift Entrance in Westmarch. Place Crest to increase your loots. Crest can be obtained by completing Ancestral Rifts, in the Battle Pass, from the Hilts Merchant or in the Premium Shop. If you place a Legendary Crest, you are guaranteed to get a Legendary Gem.
Elder Rift entry

You will get more rewards if you complete the rifts in a group of 4 players.

You can pick up one Crest each day by interacting with Elder Rift Entrance, but you can also buy 2 from Hilts merchant. To teleport directly to the Incuses merchant, simply go to the third tab of your inventory, then click on Incuses and go to the merchant. The merchant will offer you a wide choice of rewards. However, wait until you are a higher level to buy equipment.

Once you have progressed through the game, you will have access to new activities: Hellquary, the daily mini-dungeon Legacy of the Horadrims, the Battlefields or the world bosses.
