The GPR Epic Seven is full of heroes. There's something for everyone and each one has unique statistics and skills. Generally, they are ranked according to their class (knight, assassin, mage, soul weaver, etc.), type (fire, ice, earth, etc.) and rarity (number of stars). However, a team can only have 4 members in most game modes. The choice can therefore be difficult and with this in mind, our Tier List Epic Seven could be useful to you!
It aims to identify the best heroes to integrate into your formation. Given the differences in each game mode (Abyss, Arena, Adventure, etc.), there are several lists of top tier characters. We have therefore established 3 Epic Seven tier lists according to the game modes!
All this is explained in this article 🙂
How did we build these third lists?
A Tier list does not by nature involve a certain amount of subjectivity. It is difficult to obtain the absolute truth, all the more so as the individual power of the heroes is also linked to the whole and the coherence of your composition. The power of the characters is also likely to vary according to balancing and updates... Thus, our Tier List Epic Seven seeks above all to make life easier for novice players who want to start their adventure on the right foot. Try to get at least one of the heroes listed in your first selective invocation at the beginning of the game. As we explained in our Beginner's Guide, this first summon offers unlimited possibilities, so you might as well take advantage of it! 😉
Tier List Epic Seven: 5 best heroes of the Adventure game mode
The adventure game mode is the classic mode in which you should spend the vast majority of your time. This is the one that allows you to advance in the game and especially in the storyline. It also offers an easy and regular source of gold, stone, experience and even catalysts! For any player, the first few levels should not present any difficulty. But the further you go (second and third episode), the more demanding they become and require a solid composition to get past the obstacles. If you don't have any of the top Epic Seven heroes, at least try to recruit one to be your defender (hero borrowed from another player).
Arbitred Vildred (Assassin, Shadow)
This special version of Vildred is not easy to get. You have to resort to a lunar invocation and keep your fingers crossed. This hero has huge damage to quickly clean up the waves of monsters. He also slows down and weakens the hit enemies. Moreover, if his nature of assassin makes him a little fragile, his undead past allows him to resist much better.
Tamarind (Soul Weaver, Fire)
It takes a little time for this idol to shine on the battlefield. So the adventure game mode where battles follow one another is perfect for her! Once transformed, Tamarinne is surely the best caretaker in the game. As a bonus, she also boosts the attacks of all her allies. She is the utility character par excellence who finds her place in all the compositions.
Vildred (Assassin, Earth)
The classic version of Vildred has its own identity and also does very well in the classic game mode. More focused on the offensive, it takes advantage of its many AoE to quickly slice and dice its opponents into a series of ruthless chains.
Ravi (Warrior, Fire)
Ravi la guerrière is a very good tank that serves effectively as a front line. It is usually equipped with life stealing and hit points, which gives it a strong resistance in addition to giving it the ability to charge its liabilities. To top it all off, it can stun its enemies and burn them!
Achates (Soul Weaver, Fire)
This 4-star soul weaver is not the rarest, but she is devilishly powerful in adventure. She heals, removes malus and protects her allies with invulnerability. Above all, with her reduced recovery time, she can seamlessly combine group and individual care!
Top 5 Epic Seven heroes in PvP (Arena and Guild Wars)
The Arena and Guild Wars game modes are not quite similar, partly because there are not the same number of heroes involved. However, it's often the same characters that are at the top. They are very powerful in PvP against other heroes. Contrary to the adventure game mode, the counters are reset after each battle (health points and recovery times). You can therefore favor the profiles of sprinters rather than those who need time to get started. The importance of taking the initiative is also emphasized. Whoever hits first often has the advantage.
Arbiter Vildred (Assassin, Shadow)
We've already seen this dangerous assassin for the adventure game mode, but he's so complete that he's also carving out a place for himself in PvP battles. His ability to return to combat after suffering fatal damage is all the more appreciable in this mode.
Seaside Bellona (Archers, Ice)
This improved and limited version of Bellona is wreaking havoc in PvP. It brings constant damage and can also effectively counter enemies who strike in AoE. This is quite common when fighting players! Above all, its ability to cut off your opponent's buffs and heal usually helps to tip the battle in your favour.
Ruele of the Light (Soul Weaver, Light)
She's probably the best PvP practition er for several reasons. In addition to being very tanky, she can resurrect a dead ally... An ability that doesn't run the streets!
Charles (Knight, Earth)
This proud knight of the earth has some pretty good basic stats, offensively as well as defensively. But he's got two big trump cards up his sleeve. He can defeat enemies and counter certain compositions. Moreover, we like to play him with an artifact that increases his chances of counterattacking. This mechanic, allows to multiply his damages and his chances of debuff.
Martial Artist Ken (Warrior, Shadow)
Plays the front line role in PvP perfectly. With its counter mechanics, it will return almost as many blows as it receives! It also gives you the opportunity each time to reduce your target's attack, which increases the survivability of your whole team.
Tier List Epic Seven: 5 best heroes of the Abyss game mode
For those who like difficulty, the Abyss game mode is surely the most dangerous place in the game world. This mode offers big rewards along its 110 floors (Pieraciel, prophecy bookmarks, penguins, etc.). However, you have to be patient. You can only try your luck 3 times a day and strong opponents will quickly rise up in front of you. Therefore, you must think carefully about your composition and choose the best heroes to continue your ascent. Defenders cannot participate; you are on your own in this mode of play. Each stage has its own difficulties, but some heroes excel by their power and regularity.
Dizzy (Mage, Ice)
This very popular character is like a fish in the water in the Abyss. This mode has all kinds of surprises in store for you, but Dizzy is the all-risk insurance! No matter how powerful they are, enemies are muzzled by Dizzy's fast and attacking debuffs that slowly but surely allow him to get the best of them.
Tamarind (Soul Weaver, Fire)
For the second time, Tamarinne can be found in our Tier List Epic Seven. She needs time to shine and the Abyss' lengthening levels will allow her to transform into an idol and activate her full power all the time.
Angelica (Soul Weaver, Ice)
This careful miniature is an excellent choice in the Abyss. Angelica continuously heals her allies with her various skills while giving them immunity to debuffs. Ideal to face the long fights of the Abyss where any loss can condemn your chances of success.
Bellona (Archere, Earth)
The classic version of the bowman is ideal against bosses, as it deals damage based on the target's max VPs. That's a good thing, because there are bosses in the Abyss that are more resistant than others. As a bonus, its reduction of enemy defenses greatly speeds up level completion.
Chloe (Warrior, Ice)
If you take Epic Seven as a whole, Chloe isn't exactly the best character. But in the Abyss, she finds a niche activity where she excels. She has a huge burst in single-target that increases with the maximum life of her target. As with Bellona, this is a boon when facing the powerful bosses of the mode.
That's already the end of our Tier List Epic Seven , which lists top third party heroes according to the main game modes. Keep your fingers crossed for the listed characters, knowing that some of them can't be recruited via classic summoning.
For those who have not gotten their hands on these precious heroes, don't give up! It's always possible to build alternative compositions, but you'll surely have a little more difficulty. 😉
Enjoy the game!
