Unlock Sumeru's craftable weapons in Genshin Impact

Unlock Sumeru's craftable weapons in Genshin Impact

The Sumeru region offers 5 new 4-star craftable weapons. However, these are not directly available from the blacksmith, you will have to unlock them. In this guide we explain how to get the Sumeru weapons plans in Genshin Impact. We also explain what they can do for you and which characters you can use them on.

How to unlock Sumeru's craftable weapon plans in Genshin Impact ?

Before you can unlock Sumeru's craftable weapons, you must first unlock access to the Tree of Dreams in Vanarana. To do so, you must have completed the world quests Aranyaka part 1 - Woodland Encounter and started the Aranyaka part 2 - Dream Nursery quest.

You can then take the quest Trees and Dreams and access the Tree of Dreams. Just like Inazuma's Sacred Sakura, you can give it Dendro Sigils to obtain rewards.

Aravinay's location of Sumeru's craftable weapons in Genshin Impact

But for the time being, we are not directly interested in the Tree of Dreams, but in Aravinay, an aranara who is right next door. It is thanks to this NPC that you will be able to unlock the plans of Sumeru's craftable weapons in Genshin Impact.

In exchange, you have to tell him stories. But of course, it's not that simple. You'll actually have to complete all of the Dream Nursery quests, one of the longest quest sequences on Genshin Impact.

Aravinay, the NPC who gives Sumeru the plans for his craftable weapons in Genshin Impact

Once you have completed all the quests, talk to an aranara named Aravinay to get the plans for Sumeru's craftable weapons. You will then be able to make them at any blacksmith's shop, as long as you have the right components.

Materials needed to craft Sumeru weapons

To craft Sumeru weapons in Genshin Impact, you will need weapon bases from the center. You can get them from the Tree of Dreams or by fighting Sumeru bosses in the conquest dungeons.

It is also possible to convert a northern weapon base to a central weapon base on an alchemy table using 2 Dream Solvents. You will then need 50 Crystal Chunks and 50 White Iron Chunks to forge a weapon.

What are the characteristics of Sumeru's craftable weapons?

In general, Sumeru's craftable weapons in Genshin Impact emphasize elemental reactions related to the Dendro element. They also increase elemental mastery, a key stat for increasing damage from elemental reactions. These weapons will therefore be a good choice for Dendro characters or those who do a lot of reactions.

The Sapwood Blade

The Sapwood Blade is a one-handed sword. Its secondary stat provides energy recharge. When you trigger a Burning, Quicken, Aggravate, Spread, Bloom, Hyperbloom, or Burgeon reaction, a Leaf of Consciousness is generated around the character for up to 10 seconds.

This one increases the elemental mastery of the character who picks it up by 60 points for 12 seconds. You can only use this effect every 20 seconds, and it cannot be combined. However, you can trigger it even if the character is not active. When refined to level 5, the elemental mastery bonus will increase to 120 points.

You can equip it on the Dendro Traveler, Kuki Shinobu or even Xingqiu.

The Forest Regalia

The two-handed sword Forest Regalia also increases the energy recharge. Its passive is the same as that of the Sapwood Blade.

This Sumeru craftable weapon is recommended for characters who need a lot of energy to cast their elemental rampage, such as Beidou.

The Moonpiercer

The Moonpiercer is a spear that increases elemental mastery. After performing an elemental reaction related to the element Dendro, you will obtain a Leaf of Revival. When it is collected, the character's ATK increases by 16% for 12 seconds.

You can use this effect every 20 seconds. Once you reach level 5 of refinement, the Moonpiercer will grant a bonus to ATK of 32%.

This Sumeru craftable weapon will benefit characters who perform a lot of elemental reactions, such as Xiangling, Cyno or Thomas.

The King’s Squire

The King's Squire bow increases ATK%. His passive gives you the Teachings of the Forest effect when you activate an elemental skill or rampage. It increases elemental mastery by 60 points (140 at level 5) for 12 seconds.

This effect ends if you change character. When the effect ends or is cancelled, it deals damage equal to 100% of ATK (180% at level 5) to a nearby enemy. You can only activate this effect once every 20 seconds.

You can equip the bow on Tighnari, who will benefit from the elemental mastery bonus.

The Fruit of Fulfillment

The catalyst Fruit of Fulfillment boosts your energy recharge. Its passive grants you the Wax and Wane effect when you trigger an elemental reaction. This increases elemental mastery by 24 points (36 points at level 5), but also reduces ATK by 5%.

The Fruit of Fulfillment

You can cumulate it up to 5 times. The effect can be triggered every 0.3 seconds. It works even if the equipped character is not active.

The loss of ATK does not make it a good offensive catalyst. But you can use it on characters that create elemental reactions like Lisa or Kokomi.
