Diablo Immortal patch 1.5.2 brings a lot of new features, including the ability to switch classes! If you started your adventure as a Monk and want to switch to the Witch without having to start over, you can now do so! In this guide, we'll explain how to change between Diablo Immortal classes and how this option works.
6 classes are available in Diablo Immortal : Barbarian, Wizard, Demon Hunter, Monk, Crusader and Necromancer. Each of them offers a very different gameplay. It is likely that after a few hours of play, you will realize that the class you have chosen is not entirely suitable for you. While you can have multiple characters on the same server, you will have to level and equip them each time, which can be time consuming.
Blizzard is making things much simpler in the July 20, 2022 update by allowing you to change classes for free in Diablo Immortal. The only real requirement is to be at least level 35.
You must then go to the Blaze of Changing Flames located in Westmarch and interact with it. If you can't find it, just consult the map.
In this guide, we'll explain how switch Diablo Immortal class works: the number of times per week, equipment management, paragon tree, etc.
You can choose the class of your choice once a week for free. However, for the time being, it will not be possible to change class more than once a week, even if you pay.
The change of class is of course not final. If you regret your choice, you can return to your old class without waiting a week and get all your equipment back. This way you can try out a character and then go back.
When you change classes for the first time, you can customize your character, just like when you create one. Also, you get a full reset of your paragon trees.
When you change class, you receive a replacement equipment equivalent to the one you had on your former class. The latter is, in turn, moved to your inventory. You keep your combat score.
If you had cosmetics specific to your class, they will not be transferred, but kept. You can get them again if you return to your old class.
If you are part of a war party or clan, your ties to it will be maintained. After changing class, your position in the battlefield ranking will also be transferred. However, you will lose your position in the probationary rift ranking, only the progression will be kept.
You now know everything about how to change class in Diablo Immortal. It's very easy to do, and allows you to try out a new class while keeping your progress, which is pretty cool if you're a high level paragon. It's a great way to easily test out all the classes in Diablo Immortal and find out which gameplay suits you best.
