Valkyrie Clash of Clans: the detailed troop guide

The Clash of Clans Valkyrie is one of the units that can intimidate most CoC troops - whether they are heroes or not. This fearsome warrior shows no mercy or compassion towards her opponents and is capable of knocking out her opponent in seconds. And that's just one of her superpowers.
So how do you deploy this unit? What are the strategies and attack combinations with the valkyrie? I'll tell you everything in the following. 😏

General description of the group

The Clash of Clans valkyrie has orange highlights. She wears boots, a wristband on each arm, a bikini and a loincloth, all of which are made of leather. This warrior is equipped with a large axe which she wields to perfection and uses as a weapon against her opponents.

You will recognise this troop by their unique and perfect facial features that make them both fierce and beautiful fighters. As you level up, their appearance changes. For example, from level 5 onwards, she becomes a beast skin.

The Clash of Clans Valkyrie is so small that you'll easily mistake her for a barbarian in the fray. However, don't let her size fool you; her potential far outweighs her appearance.

Its combat technique - whirling - allows it to attack up to four buildings simultaneously. It has higher hit points than thebarbarian or wizard, but lower than the golem. On the other hand, her DPS stats are among the best in the game - which allows her to withstand, and even win, some duels.

Furthermore, the valkyrie is a melee unit, which only attacks ground troops like itself. It is therefore vulnerable to air armies. However, as long as she engages in a duel with a building, she will only give up if the building is destroyed, if she herself is attracted by other ground troops, skeletons or skeletal traps.

The Clash of Clans Valkyrie is a versatile garrison unit. You can integrate it into any composition. Its speed of execution and movement as well as its attack power make it a formidable and complete unit.

✅ What to do

The valkyrie is most effective when sent in a group. For example, a group of 8-10 rank 7 valkyries is enough to knock out the level 30 archer queen in less than 1 second. If you also deploy your valkyries in groups, they will be more difficult to destroy, especially by single-target defences such as the archer or wizard tower.

Indeed, while one of them will take the blows of the defenders, the rest of the group will take advantage of it to inflict damage.

Valkyries move very fast. Therefore, using a healing spell for these troops is not very effective. Instead, use a rage spell to boost their stats. Furthermore, your valkyries will benefit from the effects of the spell for a short time if they come out of the ring. During this time they will attack other areas with improved skills.

Despite all its extraordinary features, the Clash of Clans Valkyrie is not very intelligent and easily loses its way. She tends to attack nearby buildings first and then turn without entering the heart of the opposing village. She therefore needs you to show her the way.

To do this, clean the outside with a few archers, barbarians or wizards. You should also know that valkyries avoid the ramparts as much as possible. Even when they penetrate the enemy camp, they can emerge if they encounter obstacles.

Then use a jump spell or 4 seismic spells to create a passage to the buildings you are targeting.

Defence strategy with the Clash of Clans Valkyrie

The valkyrie is also very effective in defence. First of all, its rather long life allows it to take a lot of hits while also inflicting. It takes less than a second for a valkyrie to destroy an archer, a wizard or a barbarian.

Furthermore, by having several valkyries stationed in your clan castle, the opponent will use up a large part of his attack formation without any guarantee of success. They can also put the opposing heroes in a bad position - which will certainly annoy your opponent and make him lose his nerve.

On the other hand, your valkyries will be totally ineffective if your opponent attacks only with air troops. In fact, they will not even leave the castle if this happens.

What you need to know

To defend yourself against the valkyrie, use one of the following tricks:

use any kind of air troop;
send a giant or a slow troop, but with a lot of hit points to occupy the valkyrie. Then send archers or wizards.

Features of the Super Valkyrie in Clash of Clans

The Super Valkyrie is one of the alter egos I mentioned in my detailed guide to Clash of Clans troops. You unlock the Super Valkyrie as soon as you upgrade your troop to level 7. It takes up more space (20) than the classic valkyrie (8).

She also has even more rewarding hit points and DPS stats. The Super Valkyrie carries a rage spell on her back that she uses when you activate her special ability Farewell Gift. Unlike other boosted troops, the Super Valkyrie unlocks her special ability when she is defeated in battle.

The rage spell released increases the attack speed, DPS and HP of all troops remaining in combat and affected by the ring.

As with other super troops, you do not use the lab to upgrade your super valkyrie.

Although the number of places does not allow you to form several units, you can very easily include it in your compositions attacks to play the same role as the classic valkyrie. However, it is still much more useful in another way.

Indeed, the idea is to take advantage of the special ability of this troop. So, send one with each group of troops you deploy into battle. Whenever the boosted Clash of Clans Valkyrie is destroyed, the units still alive will get an ability boost from the rage spell released.

This technique allows you to make the most of your spell slots. You will take fewer rage spells and the available space will be used to take more spells.

Super valkyrie strategy in defence

The number of places it occupies and its inability to attack air troops prevent the Super Valkyrie from remaining in defence. However, it can be a real plus if you combine it with other units.
