Infinity Nikki announcement in a beautiful trailer

Fans of peaceful games and Zelda, discover the Infinity Nikki announcement, the open world and crossplatform dress-up game from Papergames. If you are as surprised as we are by this original mix, let's analyze together the beautiful images of the trailer to get a glimpse of the game's content.

Infinity Nikki announcement trailer for PC, PlayStation and mobile

Papergames has announced Infinity Nikki, an open-world dress-up game for Android, iOS, PS5, PS4 and PC, through a trailer. If the term dress up doesn't ring a bell, it's a game where the goal is to dress up a character with several costumes to collect in different ways.

The previous games of the license, Shining Nikki, Miracle Nikki and Nikki UP2U World Traveller, are only available on mobile. But for this ambitious new game, the Papergames studio has hired Kentaro Tominaga, who was game designer on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild as well as all the games in the franchise since The Wind Waker.

The inspiration of Nintendo's game can be felt in the images of the trailer, which reveals a fantastic world with green landscapes in which we really want to wander.

Multiple activities in a magical world

Although not much information is revealed about the game content in the trailer and on the official website, we can see several activities in the announcement trailer of Infinity Nikki, such as fishing, cute creatures to adopt, but also platforming phases during exploration or runners in a collapsing building.

Obviously, the main objective of Infinity Nikki will be to collect a multitude of outfits to show off while walking around this peaceful universe. Housing has not been announced in Infinity Nikki, but it is likely that it will be possible to decorate your home to fully enjoy the world of Miraland.

Our only deductions concern the gameplay, and more particularly the physics, with floating jumping animations, which gives a slow effect. It remains to be seen if this is a problem that will be fixed during development or if it is a will of the studio.

So much for the Infinity Nikki announcement, the open world dress up game from Papergames, coming to PC, PS5, PS4, Android and iOS. To keep you informed about the news, I refer you to our page dedicated to mobile news.
