The Korean studio Action Square has just unveiled the first Kingdom: The Blood trailer, the game based on the Netflix series of the same name. We take a look at what's in store for us in this zombie game where you will only be able to rely on the use of your blade to defend yourself.
The first Kingdom: The Blood trailer shows us an action game where you will have to fight zombies, which will be available on both PC and mobile. The game is developed by Action Square, the studio behind the medieval fantasy license Blade, only available in Asia.
The game's adventures take place in Korea during the reign of the Joseon Dynasty. The story will have ten four-stage chapters at launch, which will cover the events of the first two seasons of the Netflix series.
Although other characters will be playable, the team has only revealed the character of Lee Chang. He will be equipped with his iconic Hwando.
Visually, Kingdom: The Blood trailer is ambitious. Particular care has been given to the behavior of traditional Korean outfits, both in the movements and in the degradation due to the confrontations.
Nevertheless, in order to make it accessible to as many players as possible, the system requirements to enjoy it in good conditions are the same as for Genshin Impact.
Now that we have discovered the first images in the Kingdom: The Blood trailer, let's take a look at the information we have about the gameplay of the game.
The developers hinted that they were fans of Soulslike games like Dark Souls or more recently Elden Ring. Thus, the game will not incorporate automated movement to facilitate combat.
To fight, you will have only 3 keys: basic attacks, special attack and dodge. In addition to these controls, you will have to perform QTEs to unlock stat boosts or to give your opponent the coup de grace.
In addition to the main story, several multiplayer game modes will be available, such as Occupation mode, which will see players compete in short 5-minute games. The most courageous among you will have the opportunity to take on challenges of higher difficulty in Breakthrough mode, where games will last an average of twenty minutes.
That's it for the Kingdom: The Blood trailer. We don't know the release date of the game yet. We will keep you informed when we have more information. In the meantime, to not miss any news, I redirect you to our page dedicated tomobile news.
