Marvel Snap Season 3 : Power Cosmic begins

After Season 2, which featured the movie Wakanda Forever, Marvel Snap Season 3 is all about Power Cosmic and in particular Silver Surfer, the Galactus' herald. Let's discover together the new features of this update, with four new maps that appear, locations and a Season Pass.

Marvel Snap Season 3 new cards

Available since December 6, 2022, Marvel Snap Season 3 brings its share of new features, including 4 cards related to Power Cosmic. First, Silver Surfer is a cost 3 card with 0 power. However, its Revealed effect gives it +3 power for every other cost-3 card.

Then we have three more new cards that integrate the 5 series with the rarest cards in the game: Knull, Sentry and Darkhawk. To learn more about the card sets, I'll redirect you to our article on the previous new Marvel Snap cards.

Knull	6	0	Thanks to its Ongoing effect, Knull accumulates the power of all the cards destroyed during the game.
Sentry	4	8	Sentry cannot be played on the right location. His On Reveal card effect adds a -8 power card to the right location.
Darkhawk	4	1	Darkhawk's Ongoing effect gives him +2 power for each card in the opponent's deck.

Currently, only Silver Surfer is available in Marvel's TCG. Meanwhile, Knull will be released on December 13 while Sentry and Darkhawk will arrive on December 20, 2022. In the meantime, Black Panther is also joining the series 5 following the end of the Wakanda Forever Season Pass.

Other new features of the Power Cosmic season

The Season Pass for Marvel Snap Season 3 is already available. It contains many free and paid rewards , including the new Silver Surfer card that unlocks at the first level, variants of The Infinaut and The Collector, but also avatars, credits, gold and two back cards.

In addition to these cards and the Season Pass, Marvel Snap Season 3 welcomes 20 new card variants as well as four new locations:

• Lamentis-1: Draws 3 cards and destroys the deck of each player;
• Klyntar: after turn 4, merges your cards here into a Symbiote;
• Sleep: the first card you play here is destroyed;
• Morag: you cannot play your first card here every turn.
