Mobile Games Recap | Week of 23 to 29 August 2021

August mobile news round-up week 5

Check out the weekly recap of mobile gaming news on Android and iOS for the week of August 23 to 29, 2021! We'll let you find out all about it. ⬇️

1️⃣ Everdale is a village simulation type mobile game now offered by Supercell. The Finnish publisher thus moves from clan warfare to a non-confrontational community. On the menu: a narrative full of secrets to discover between friends, NPCs to customise and a whole village to develop in harmony by building, manufacturing and improving a whole set of elements.

2️⃣ The Netflix adaptation of the webcomic Kingdom seems to have found its audience. In fact, a game based on it is set to be released under the name Kingdom: Blood. Aside from a short narrative teaser, the Korean-style zombie game has unfortunately not been given a release date.

3️⃣ This week marks the release of the long-awaited open-world Marvel Future Revolution for fans of the Marvel Universe. Here you can play as some of your favourite heroes to save the universes after Vision's sacrifice. Thelist of playable heroes and details on the gameplay can be found in the article.

4️⃣ While the MMO inspired by Tolkien's universe has finally been cancelled by Amazon, all hope is not lost for Lord of the Rings. Indeed, a new mobile game called Lord of the Rings: Rise to War has just been announced. However, don't expect a MMORPG; this one will play more like a wargame with squares to conquer. Let's hope it will satisfy LOTR fans.

5️⃣ Alliance battles Lost Centuria make their appearance with the new update. We explain the new game system, how to sign up and how to validate your team in the dedicated article. The alliance master will be your warlord and will always have the last word.

6️⃣ The flurry of announcements this week just doesn't stop. Beyond the alliance battles Lost Centuria, Com2Us has made our mouths water with Summoners War Chronicles. The latest addition to the SW universe, it will allow you to play as one of three summoners and build your team of monsters to travel through a colourful open-world.

Be sure to check out the latest mobile game releases to see what's new! See you next week for fresh news on your favourite mobile games. 😃
