Mobile Games News Review | Week of 29 November to 5 December 2021

December 2021 mobile news round-up week 1

Check out the weekly recap of mobile gaming news on Android and iOS for the week of November 29 to December 5, 2021! We'll let you discover it all below. ⬇️

1️⃣ Late Monday night, we stayed up to share an enigmatic teaser for Pokémon GO: Season of Heritage released as a surprise. Without giving too much away, the video still shared a logo reminiscent of the shape of the Crowned Mountain in the Sinnoh region.

2️⃣ Over the course of a lengthy article discovering the best mobile games of 2021 winners of the Google Play Awards, we've been looking back at this year's successes in the Google Playstore. Some are more understandable than others in our opinion, but hey, we weren't asked our opinion! 😏

3️⃣ The PUBG mobile x Youtube Premium partnership is now official. Find all the info in our article: landing page, duration of the partnership and getting the exclusive temporary and final in-game rewards .

4️⃣ It was almost more anticipated than Christmas itself... It's finally time for Rocket League Sideswipe to be released in Europe. Sacru was like crazy and he and Hakio are playing daily games with each other. We strongly advise you to take a look at it (at least). If you are a fan of RL on PC, you will find the arcade feeling with an interesting and captivating learning curve. A more than successful port for Psyonix.

5️⃣ We didn't share the news with you back in November since nothing is less certain than a leak in the video game world, but this week saw the official announcement of Tsareena in Pokémon Unite. The latter joins the growing Pokémon roster of Nintendo's MOBA on mobile and Switch with a nice set of legs.

6️⃣ In the midst of the success of the Arcane series, Riot is taking the opportunity to reveal the fact that Silco will soon be joining the TFT character roster. But not the League of Legends roster! Farewell to our dreams of crazy father/daughter clashes in Summoner's Rift.

7️⃣ The sublime Battle Royale FF VII: The First Soldier introduces the Mimic Materia. This allows the player to change into a Final Fantasy Cloud after defeating a glitch. Game breaker? You tell us.

8️⃣ The highly anticipated DC Worlds Collide RPG has been released on mobile in some countries. Far from competing with Marvel Future Revolution and its open world, it looks more like a Valor Legends, whether it will have the quality remains to be seen.

9️⃣ Finally, with season 8 of Lost Centuria, the game welcomes Mu Shu as well as a new co-op game mode in which players team up to take down bosses.

Be sure to check out the latest mobile game releases to see what's new! See you next week for fresh news on your favourite mobile games. 😃
