Monument Valley 2 The Lost Forest, a new chapter in green

Chapter The Lost Forest Monument Valley 2

After several tweets of teasing, UsTwo Games unveils The Lost Forest, the new chapter of Monument Valley 2. We reveal more about the levels added in this high-stakes update. Without spoilers, this should please those who are looking for publishers with good practices.

The Lost Forest - a Monument Valley 2 chapter dedicated to trees

We thought that Monument Valley 2 had settled into its eternal rest as a successful game that no longer needs updating. However, here it is, waking up from its slumber like Sleeping Beauty. By adding this chapter The Lost Forest to Monument Valley 2, UsTwo Games is above all signing on to these convictions. Four intimate scenes are added to the game with a nature and forest theme.

Where the game usually shines by showing a fallen and lost civilisation, the focus turns to the gradual disappearance of the forest on our blue planet. With this initiative, UsTwo Games hopes to raise environmental awareness among its players and encourage them to take part in the change by signing the Play4Forests petition. This new chapter is part of a movement to make gamers more responsible via their favourite medium: video games. I let you discover the trailer of The Lost Forest.

This is not the first time that the studio has taken an interest in wilderness and ecological issues. Indeed, UsTwo has also created Alba: A Wildlife Adventure. This title focuses on the protection of the fauna of a Mediterranean island. Moreover, for each download, a tree has been planted. It is therefore not surprising to see one of their most successful titles (the Monument Valley licence) get up to speed in order to bring their eco-responsible message to a wider audience with The Lost Forest. And fans of the licence and of mobile puzzle games will be even happier! And even a little more aware of the precariousness of the flora.

Note that The Lost Forest can also serve as an appetizer while waiting for the next opus. As a reminder, Monument Valley 3 is well and truly in development at the studio. We are always on the lookout for more information on this game. So, you can count on us to keep you informed in case of a dedicated trailer or press release.
