To get the year 2022 off to a flying start, what better way than with a mobile car racing title that seems to be coming to the starting line? The famous Need for Speed licence should benefit from a new iteration, for the moment developed under the provisional name of Need for Speed Online Mobile. Let's find out the first information about this game revealed by a Tencent Games job offer.
As is often the case in the video game industry, the crumbs of information left by publishers and developers are scrutinised in the hope of learning more about future releases. This time, job offers found on Tencent Careers are open to 3D animators, game designers, design specialists and other project managers in Shanghai and Shenzhen but also beyond. Information about the game's Unreal Engine 4 production was provided by a Reddit contributor.
Looking at the description of the offer in detail, here's what we discover about Need for Speed Online Mobile developed by TiMi Studios (Pokémon Unite, CoD Mobile, ...) and EA.
You will be responsible for the design of various game modes of a large realistic racing world or 3C racing experience; compile various design related plans and request lists; make decisions and follow up on various tasks within the R&D process to ensure smooth and quality group communication; as well as monitor, progress and analyse statistical data, formulate optimisation plans based on feedback and data received and follow up on the specific development.
