Patch SW: Optimization of runes management in Summoners War

Optimization of the runes management on Summoners War

This new update to Summoners War will make life easier for many summoners! Summoners War's rune management has been improved and will allow you to optimise the runage of your monsters very easily. Thanks to it, you will also be able to spy on thousands of players more easily. 🕵️♂️

We'll take a closer look at what's in store for this patch, which is due to be released in the next few days (before 18 January). For aficionados of over-optimization, don't worry, Rune Optimizer will still be useful!

Rune Statistics used by other players

In the same place where you can currently see other players' runage tips and earn gems by putting a like(LOL), a new tab will be added: Rune Statistics.

This new feature allows you to see the percentages corresponding to which rune sets are used on a monster. Pretty cool when you just summoned a 5 Nat but have no idea how to run it.

Summoners War Runes Statistics

Not only that, but you also have access to statistics on the properties of the runes and by slot. For example, you can see if players are focusing on speed or %ATK on slot 2.

Rune property stats

Some details on how these rune statistics work:

  • The statistics are specific to each server. For example, the stats of the Europe server will not be mixed with those of the Global server;
  • If the statistics for a monster are not sufficient, then they will not be displayed;
  • They are updated regularly and not in real time (about once a month), so it will always be interesting to keep up with the latest opti adjustments on a monster.

Rune Auto Engraving on Summoners War

For players who are new to Summoners War, or even to save you time, it will be possible to automatically carve runes into your monster. This feature will rely on the stats we have just seen and prepare recommendations based on the following elements:

  • Rune set effects;
  • The main properties;
  • Sub-properties ;
  • The Star Grade of Runes;
  • The sub-stats of the runes.

A redesign of the rune interface was therefore necessary to give you access to your runes, artifacts and rune management and setting features.

Automatically engraving runes on Summoners War will not only be reserved for monsters without runes. You will also be able to see if you have runes in stock that allow you to upgrade your monster even if it is already fully run.

Auto Engrave runes on Summoners War

This feature is available from the monster page and from the Rune Management menu.

Some details on this new feature:

  • If your monster already has runes, a mana cost of removal will be added;
  • Only the runes in your inventory will be used.

Saving and loading runes

The last new feature on Summoners War runes concerns the saving of runes. Who hasn't tried to optimise their runage before realising they were going the wrong way? Fixing mistakes and remembering which monster had which rune is hell! But those days are over.

With this feature, you will be able to save the runes of all your monsters for 200,000 mana and load them again if you wish for another 200,000 mana.

Saving runes in Summoners War

Be aware that there will also be an additional mana cost to remove / engrave runes on your monsters. So the bill can be high if you use this feature outside of a free rune de-equipping event.

Speaking of which, good timing! A free de-equipping event for runes and artifacts will be available a few days after the update and will run from January 19th to January 22nd. It will not be directly activated after the update as Com2Us says they are a bit worried about the load of these features on their servers.

This big update to the rune management in Summoners War will really change the difficulty of the game. We can't wait to see what it will do in-game. All that's left is to get ready for this patch and go farm all the dungeons in Cairos! A FAQ is also available on the official website if you still have questions.
