Pegasus Dream Tour

It's been announced! The official game of the Tokyo Paralympics will be released this summer. The game is called Pegasus Dream Tour and will be available on iOS and Android. Sports games are becoming increasingly popular on mobile. JP Games Inc. and the International Paralympic Committee are putting their money where their mouth is! The Paralympic Games, which are rarely mentioned, will be featured in this new mobile game. We tell you more about this initiative!

Pegasus Dream Tour by Hajime Tabata's studio (Final Fantasy XV)

The International Paralympic Committee has set the bar very high. It called on the best, the very famous studio led by Hajime "Tabby" Tabata. The Final Fantasy XV director took part in the project to raise awareness among young people. He thinks that young people should be more interested in the Paralympic Games. In Pegasus Dream Tour, JP Games is proposing an atypical project, a dynamic and deeply committed RPG. Moreover, the game is planned for mobile, but also for other platforms. It is thought that it will also be released on PC at first.

Committee chairman Andrew Parsons said of the game: "The Pegasus Dream Tour is a sports role-playing game where players compete in virtual Paralympic games in a fantasy city called Pegasus City.

A complete RPG with several real athletes present!

Pegasus Dream Tour will take place in Pegasus City. In this RPG, you will be able to create an avatar in your own image! This avatar will be generated automatically by taking a selfie with your smartphone! In this very ambitious game, you will be able to choose between different prosthetic arms, legs, etc. You will also be able to choose from several wheelchairs. Your goal will be to train and participate in various para-sport competitions.

The following para-athletes will be featured in the Pegasus Dream Tour game: Takayuki Hirose (Boccia / Japan), Patrick Anderson (Wheelchair Basketball / Canada), Holly Robinson (Javelin / New Zealand), Silvio Velo (5-a-side Football / Argentina), Manami Tanaka (Wheelchair Tennis / Japan), Kohei Kobayashi (Badminton / Japan), Rie Ogura (Badminton / Japan), Scout Bassett (Track & Field / USA) and Chaiwat Rattana (Track & Field / Thailand).
