Pokémon Unite new map announced in a trailer

As Tyranitar has just joined the MOBA fighters of the Pokémon universe, the games will soon be turned upside down by the Pokémon Unite new map arrival. Let's see what changes this new game environment will bring.

Pokémon Unite new map trailer

It is during the Pokémon World Championships 2022 opening ceremony that we could discover the Pokémon Unite new map trailer. Named Theia Sky Ruins, this new map has, without surprise, the same shape as the previous one. However, the neutral monsters that it hosts are radically different.

We do not have more information about these neutral objectives. However, the trailer reveals the presence of Celebi, Bunnelby and Altaria in the jungle, but also that of Rayquaza, the mascot of Pokémon Emerald. This Pokémon Dragon and Flight of the third generation will occupy the center of the new map of Pokémon Unite, instead of Zapdos, but we do not know what bonus it will offer to the team that defeats it.

A temporary map change?

Currently, the Remoat Stadium map is where players compete in ranked games. As of September 2, 2022, this map will be replaced by the Pokémon Unite new map: Theia Sky Ruins.

While this may seem trivial to the average player, it will completely change the meta for competitive players, who train many hours a day on the same map. For this reason, it is not unthinkable to imagine that the Remoat Stadium will be back in place before the start of the new official competition season.

Rayquaza on Pokémon Unite new map

If rumors are to be believed, the Theia Sky Ruins map arrival should coincide with the beginning of a cycle of three new Pokémon releases: Mew on September 2, Dodrio on September 15 and Scizor on September 25. However, this information has yet to be confirmed.

That's it for the Pokémon Unite new map. Only a few days left before you can discover all its subtleties. In the meantime, I invite you to visit our Pokémon Unite tips page to progress with our advice.
