Riot Games is coming in Xbox Game Pass on PC and mobile
On the last day of Summer Game Fest 2022, we found out about theRiot Games titles addition to Xbox Game Pass. Indeed, Xbox's catalogue of subscription-based games will soon give players access to League of Legends, LoL: Wild Rift, Legends of Runeterra, TFT and Valorant.
Riot Games titles announced in Xbox Game Pass
At Xbox and Bethesda conference opening at Summer Game Fest 2022, we learned of the upcoming introduction of Riot Games titles to Xbox Game Pass, which will add to its growing catalogue.
This partnership between Riot and Game Pass comes out of nowhere and may seem surprising, as Riot Games titles are all available for free on their respective platforms. However, there will be many bonuses available in Riot games for Game Pass owners:
- League of Legends: all champions unlocked
- League of Legends: Wild Rift: all champions unlocked
- League of Runeterra: Foundation Set Unlocked
- Teamfight Tactics: select little legends unlocked
- Valorant: all agents unblocked
There is no information about Runeterra universe games developed by third party studios, such as Hextech Mayhem and Ruined King. If you want to test the Game Pass before the arrival of Riot games, head to the official Xbox website to take advantage of the first month at one euro.
Any interesting in-game bonuses?
While the bonuses for TFT and Legends of Runeterra are not exactly eye-catching, it must be said that unlocking all the champions in League of Legends, Wild Rift and Valorant is a significant gift. This is especially true for LoL and its mobile port, which offer 159 and 79 champions respectively.
This gives you plenty of time to try out as many characters as you like to find the ones that suit you, which can be laborious in normal gameplay without spending any money.
Riot Games titles are scheduled to launch in Xbox Game Pass this winter and we will have more information about this partnership by then. It's not unthinkable that other bonuses will follow, including cosmetics, and perhaps even exclusive skins .
