Release date of Subway Surfers Tag on Apple Arcade

Subway Surfers Tag release date

10 years after the original game release, we have just learned the Subway Surfers Tag release date, the spin-off of SYBO's famous runner, exclusively on Apple Arcade. If you've been playing mobile games for a while, you've probably spent several hours on Subway Surfers. Well, let's find out what's in store for this new game in the franchise.

The release date of Subway Surfers Tag exclusively on Apple Arcade

After the phenomenal success of Subway Surfers, released in 2012, the SYBO studio failed to repeat the feat with its second game Blades of Rim in 2016. It is therefore a decade later that this new game of the licence will be released, as the Subway Surfers Tag release date has just been announced for July 15, 2022.

Unfortunately, Android gamers won't have the chance to meet the well-known characters of the license, such as Jake, Tricky and Fresh. Indeed, Subway Surfers Tag is an Apple Arcade exclusive.

A spin-off that radically changes the gameplay

Now that you know the Subway Surfers Tag release date, let's quickly talk about the game's content. While sliding is still the main focus of the gameplay, the studio has abandoned the runner genre to offer a new gameplay experience. In Subway Surfers Tag, you'll have to navigate arenas in style by performing jumps or sliding on rails to score as many points as possible.

There will be different objectives to complete and the guard and his robots will try to prevent you from achieving your goal. The arenas will become more and more complex and the enemies more and more dangerous.

Subway Surfers Tag release date: gameplay

Although the gameplay is completely different, the objective remains the same as in Subway Surfers: to achieve the highest score in the world. However, it's a shame that Android users can't take part in the competition due to the Apple Arcade exclusivity.

So much for the Subway Surfers Tag release date, the new game from the SYBO studio, which has recently been acquired by Miniclip. Now you know what to expect with this new game. If you're an Apple Arcade subscriber, head over to the App Store on July 15th to download it and start practicing.
