Tencent announces Level Infinite, a PC and mobile label

Level Infinite label launches with Don't Starve: Newhome

The Chinese investor in the gaming industry announces a new publishing label: Level Infinite. But what is the Level Infinite label, its objectives and its upcoming releases? I'll explain it all to you, and I'll take the opportunity to come back to a game that passed under our radar during the first half of 2021, Don't Starve: Newhome.

Level Infinite label launches with Don't Starve: Newhome

First of all, the Level Infinite label is part of Tencent's global expansion dynamic and aims to support the growth of Tencent Games by establishing a benchmark of quality.

The launch of Level Infinite illustrates the next phase in Tencent Games' evolution as aglobal publisher and trusted brand. We look forward to bringing high quality titles to gamers, no matter what country they live in or how they play.

At the heart of this label based in Amsterdam and Singapore, renowned studios such as Lightspeed or TiMi Studios (Pokémon Unite, CoD mobile, Arena of Valor, etc.) will continue to publish their future titles, but under this new flag. In addition, there are other Tencent Games studios, as well as self-publishing studios, which will be supported by the Level Infinite label. Among them, we find Sharkmob and its license Vampire: The Masquerade or Funcom and its title Metal: Hellsinger.

Finally, a nice surprise, which I wanted to tell you about and which we probably missed a few months ago, is part of the launch of the Level Infinite label. I'm of course talking about Don't Starve: Newhome, the mobile port of Klei Entertainment's successful licence. With the same unique art direction and ideas, Don't Starve on mobile promises great adventures with a short trailer. For your information, even if it is not labelled "Together", Don't Starve: Newhome on mobile will also be played in multiplayer!

The release date of the game has not been made official, although on the Discord presented by the official website, we have heard that it will be released this year, probably in December.

Yaya Yaya would never have spent a single cent on a mobile game. At least, that's what the legend says.
