After two PC and console games, Ubisoft's license will soon be expanded with a new mobile game. For this new game, the studio has just unveiled the first trailer as well as the pre-registration for The Division Resurgence alpha. Let's find out what's in store for this survival RPG.
Last year we told you about the announcement of The Division: Heartland, the Battle Royale of the franchise, for which we still don't have a release date. Today, a new game is making its appearance with a first trailer as well as the announcement of The Division Resurgence Alpha.
The images of the trailer don't tell us much about the game, except that we will find the universe of the first two games. In this third person shooter RPG, you will evolve in a post-apocalyptic open world where a virus has contaminated a large part of the population.
This episode will be a prequel to the first two games and will tell us the story of the first wave of agents deployed. We will certainly learn more about the origin of the virus outbreak. In solo or co-op, you will have to complete various missions in different areas and new game modes will be introduced with this episode.
To participate in The Division Resurgence alpha, go to the official website, select the platform you're interested in, Android or iOS, and log in to your Ubisoft account. If you don't have one yet, you'll need to create one to register.
Then fill out the questionnaire to indicate if you have played any of the titles in the genre, such as COD Mobile, Genshin Impact or Paex Legends and submit the form. If you are one of the lucky ones who will have access to The Division Resurgence alpha, you will receive the download link by email at the beginning of the test phase.
That's it for the trailer and The Division Resurgence alpha announcement. The game will adopt the free-to-play model, but hopefully Ubisoft won't be too greedy and prevent progression for players who don't want to put their hand in the wallet, as we recently saw with Diablo Immortal.
