Warcraft Rumble Leader Tier List: the best characters

Leaders are the stars of any Warcraft Rumble build. Their unique effects can make or break a composition and always have a massive impact on the game. Due to their importance, it's vital to know which leaders are the best choice and that's why we've put together a Warcraft Rumble Leader tier list - ranking all the leaders so you can find out which ones are best to go for.

Warcraft Rumble Leader Tier List: the ranking

When it comes to ranking Leaders, there are two core aspects to consider - what kind of effects they provide, and how powerful their Mini is. We've taken both of these into consideration when putting together our tier list and have ranked every Leader in a standard alphabetical ranking, with S being the highest, followed by A, then B, and descending through the alphabet. Additionally, we've included in the Warcraft Rumble Leader tier list plus (+) and minus (-) in our ranking to highlight strength differences within the same tier.

S-tier of the Warcraft Rumble Leader Tier List - the best leaders

Let's start by looking at S tier, where we can find all the best Leaders. We can safely say that currently two Leaders stand at the top above everyone else - Baron Rivendare and Rend Blackhand. Baron Rivendare is the best leader and provides excellent map pressure thanks to his skeletons, while Rend Blackhand provides great value by reducing the cost of flying units by 1 gold.

Other very strong character of the Warcraft Rumble Leader Tier List include Old Murk-Eye, Tirion Fordring, and Hogger. All three have unique, powerful effects, but are overall slightly weaker than the S+ choices. Additionally, all the S tier Leaders also have very powerful talents, which further cements their position at the top of the rankings. Some, like Baron Rivendare's Chill of the Grave, have an effect throughout the entire game.

A Tier Warcraft Rumble Leaders

Moving to A characters of the Warcraft Rumble Leader Tier List, we have just two Leaders, Grommash Hellscream and Cairne Bloodhoof. These Leaders are still strong, but lack that extra bit of power to reach S tier. In their case, the Minis are a bit too one dimensional, and their unique effects are a little lacking.

Additionally, their Talents leave a lot to be desired. They only affect the Leader and generally don't add as much as the talents that are available for S tier leaders.

Warcraft Rumble B Tier Leaders

B tier is the joint largest, along with S tier, which shows that Warcraft Rumble Leaders are either really good, or not so much. In the case of B tier, most of these leaders lack a strong presence as Minis and only fill very specific roles. For example, Bloodmage Thalnos heavily relies on spells (as he grows more powerful with each spell cast), however, this means you have to commit to multiple spells in your deck, which leaves you without many units to support him.

With that said, these Leaders do enable some unique playstyles. As mentioned, Bloodmage Thalnos can be used in a spell-focused deck, while Jaina Proudmoore can be combined with the Blink Talent to have a Leader that can stay alive much longer than others. Sneed can also be a fun choice if you want to play a game with a ton of extra gold!

C-tier characters of the Warcraft Rumble Leader Tier List

Lastly we've reached C tier. You can definitely win with these Leaders, but they're just not strong enough to be worth it. This is due to a combination of their effects, Minis, and their cost. All of these are just not good enough when compared to other Leaders and when you also consider their talents, it's clear that almost anything else would be a better choice.

Unfortunately for Sylvanas and Chargla, you'll simply have an easier time with any of the other Leaders.

If you want to secure some easy wins, we definitely recommend Baron Rivendare and Rend Blackhand as they're simply more powerful than the rest.
