When was Monopoly GO released?
Monopoly GO, based on the famous board game licence and published by Scopely, was released on 11 April 2023 on Android and iOS. Unsurprisingly, the title was an immediate success. In fact, to date, the game has been downloaded more than 10 million times.
Monopoly GO is far from being the first game inspired by the licence to be released on mobile. It was preceded by Monopoly, released in 2019, and Monopoly Poker. MOGO uses the same concept as the physical version of the game: acquire as many properties as possible, advance through the levels and boards and bankrupt the other players by rolling dice.
Is Monopoly GO free-to-play?
Monopoly GO is free-to-play. In other words, it is free to play, but includes microtransactions. This means that players can invest in certain resources with real money, in particular dice rolls.
Dice rolls are at the heart of Monopoly GO: every hour, players unlock 5 of them, which they can store for later, up to a limit of 30 rolls. How do I play Monopoly GO?

The maximum number of levels in Monopoly GO is currently unknown, as it increases according to the performance of the best players. Be careful not to confuse levels with boards ! The boards are the different environments in which you play the game, and have nothing to do with the number of levels in Monopoly GO.
