Broadcast live on Twitch, YouTube and Facebook, the TapTap Presents 2022 covered more than 20 games, some of them presented for the very first time. We review together all the announcements of this event rich in information.

TapTap Presents 2022 announcements

Before we begin the TapTap Presents 2022 announcements, it's important to remember that the TapTap platform was launched in 2016 by the XD studio, so it makes sense that its games would be featured in this event.

Annulus

To kick off this TapTap Presents 2022, Annulus has offered itself a trailer for the opening of the pre-registrations. Developed by Indrasoft, this hack'n'slash takes place in a Dark Fantasy universe, which is reminiscent of the Diablo license. Annulus is already available for pre-registration on TapTap for Android devices.

Wuthering Waves

Wuthering Waves gameplay trailer reveals a single player open world ARPG, similar to Genshin Impact in many aspects, with a darker atmosphere and a city environment. You can now pre-register on TapTap for iOS and Android.

Torchlight Infinite

Already revealed multiple times in phases of test, Torchlight Infinite offers a new open beta slot for October 2022. In this new trailer, we discover the new champions to come in the game.

Etheria Restart: TapTap Presents world premiere

Announced as a world exclusive, Etheria: Restart is an RPG turn-based developed with Unreal Engine 4. In the presentation trailer of the game, we discover a cyberpunk universe featuring hackers with a neat charadesign. No release date has been revealed yet, but pre-registration is open on TapTap for iOS and Android, and on Steam for the PC version.

Captain Tsubasa: Ace

Captain Tsubasa Ace trailer announce this new game inspired by the iconic soccer anime license. The game is developed by the studio behind Mario Kart Tour and pre-registration is available on TapTap, but only in the United States for now.

Sword of Convallaria

This tactical RPG developed by XD has a retro look in asymmetric view. However, the effects and lighting use modern technology, which brings depth and life to the settings.

Sword of Convallaria trailer was followed by an interview with the game music composer, who chose not to opt for a retro music to offer an immersive experience. To pre-register, go to TapTap.

Project Stars

Developed by Hero Games, Project Stars is a space exploration and basic construction game, reminiscent of No Man's Sky even in its artistic direction. Whether in a ship or with your suit, the movements seem fluid, while the environments seem varied.

We'll have the opportunity to learn more in the upcoming beta. Project Stars is still in pre-registration on TapTap for Android devices.

Heartopia

Heartopia is a TapTap exclusive life simulation game, a cross between The Sims and Animal Crossing. Customize the exterior of your home and decorate the interior, meet new people, take care of your pets or go fishing.

If you're looking for a peaceful game with multiple activities, Heartopia pre-registrations are open on TapTap to be notified as soon as it's released on Android and iOS.

Koi Remake: TapTap Presents world premiere

First announced at TapTap Presents 2022, Koi Remake is also a TapTap exclusive game developed by Dotoyou. Play as a carp from above, roam the rivers peacefully and explore the surroundings freely.

But beware of nasty fish that are much bigger than you and want to eat you. Koi Remake is available now on TapTap for iOS and Android.

Anno Mutationem

Developed by Thinkingstars, Anno Mutationem is a side-scrolling action game in a futuristic and technological universe. The retro graphics and gameplay are slightly reminiscent of Dead Cells. Anno Mutationem is available in pre-registration for iOS and Android on TapTap.

BarBarQ 2

After a narrative and humorous trailer that resembles those of Clash of Clans and Clash Royale, we could discover gameplay images of BarbarQ 2 that are closer to Brawl Stars with different game modes in PvE or PvP. We can see the possibility to catch your enemies from a distance with a grappling hook to bring them back to you or to throw them into a hole.

BarBarQ 2 will soon launch a beta phase in Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines in August 2022. Otherwise, you can always pre-register on TapTap.

CoA: Crystal of Atlan

Discover the mysteries of the Crystal of Atlan in this real-time action game with an anime design, similar to Genshin Impact transposed into a world that blends magic and technology.

The combat system will include ground and air combos, and the dungeons will take place in large open areas. At the moment we know of 4 classes: Berserker, Sword Warrior, Mage and one last class whose full name has not been revealed, but which will be directly related to Atlan's story. New test phases are planned by the end of 2022.

Flash Party

We continue this summary of TapTap Presents 2022 announcements with Flash Party, a TapTap exclusive fighting game developed by XD, which is one of the best alternatives to Smash Bros on mobile.

The Midsummer Event called Pool Party will bring three new temporary skins: Summer Combat for Tarara, Pool Monster for Macalon and Summer Soda for Kamiki Yuri. These three skins will be available until August 22, 2022.

Neon Abyss Infinite

Face countless enemies and collect as many bonuses as possible in Neon Abyss Infinitethe retro 2D roguelike with dynamic gameplay. The speed of the game and the multitude of information displayed on the screen remind me of The Binding of Isaac, but with a different view. It remains to be seen whether the difficulty will be as high as in Edmund McMillen's game. Neon Abyss Infinite is available for pre-registration on TapTap for Android devices.

Evolution Eternal

Evolution Eternal is a tactical RPG with automatic battles in which you will have to compose your team of 5 characters, like in Summoners War. We learn with this new trailer that the release of the game is scheduled for November 2022.

Unhappy Raccoon

Developed by XD, Unhappy Raccoon is an action game with an original charadesign that offers confrontations in different game modes, very similar to what Torchlight Infinite offers.

The official release is scheduled for September 2022, but you can already try the game on Android and pre-register on iOS via the game's TapTap page.

Go! Go! Muffin: TapTap Presents world premiere

Announced as a world premiere by the XD studio, Go! Go! Muffin is a medieval fantasy Idle RPG in which you will battle various creatures with your team of heroes. The release of this trailer also marks the opening of pre-registration on iOS and Android.

T3 Arena

TapTap Presents 2022 next game is again of a title exclusive to the platform, since it is T3 Arena, with the Season 2: Lights On arrival from August 4. Nevertheless the short teaser does not reveal the new content that will be available for the occasion.

Spark Creative Editor: TapTap Presents world premiere

Are you nostalgic for RPG Maker? If so, you might like the Spark Creative Editor world premiere announcement. The XD studio is working on a simplified game creation tool to make it more accessible to the average person.

The project is only in the preliminary phase test , but the images of the trailer let us see some games already developed with this tool, like the action game Unknown: Promotion, the tower defense 20 Circles or the party game Castle Party.

Yeager: Hunter Legend

Yeager: Hunter Legend is a Monster Hunter-like game that features 5 types of weapons that correspond to classes: sword, hammer, daggers, spear or blaster. Already available in Canada, the Yeager: Hunter Legend beta will be available worldwide in the fourth quarter of 2022.

Ragnarök M: Eternal Love 2.0

Once again in these TapTap Presents, it's an XD game that presents new content with the major update announcement for Ragnarök M: Eternal Love 2.0. New hero classes will soon be available and gameplay changes will improve the gameplay experience.

TABS Totally Accurate Battle Simulator: TapTap Presents world premiere

In a world exclusive for TapTap Presents 2022, XD studio and Landfall have just announced the TABS mobile port, for which pre-registration is now open on TapTap.

Naraka: Bladepoint Mobile

In an interview, Ray Kuan, Naraka Bladepoint Mobile lead producer, shares with us the feedback from the first game tests. According to him, players were impressed by the combos fluidity and the handling simplicity.

On high-end devices, the graphics rival those of the PC version, but smaller devices will also be able to access the game smoothly with reduced graphics quality. Pre-registration is still available on TapTap, and large-scale phases of test will be coming very soon.

Genshin Impact

To conclude this TapTap Presents 2022, it is Genshin Impact which offers us a second glimpse of the new Sumeru region. We note that it integrates several biomes such as humid jungle, rocky and green mountains, as well as an arid desert. This region will be available soon with the arrival of the patch 3.0.
