Mobile Games Recap | Week of December 27 - January 2, 2022

December 2021 mobile games recap n5

Discover the weekly recap of the mobile games news on Android and iOS for the week of December 27th to January 2nd, 2022! We'll let you discover it all below. ⬇️

1️⃣ One year ends and another begins with its share of news. But before we get to the heart of the matter, if you were looking for a tavern simulator with management worthy of the greatest Beauty Resort flash games on jeu.fr, Barbarous 2: Tavern Wars has just been released. Those who have time to waste and like to serve fresh suds on Android, it's here.

2️⃣ Neocraft (publisher of Gardians of Cloudia, Tales of Wind or Eternal Sword M) have opened pre-registrations for their upcoming game League of Pantheons, an idle RPG featuring the various most famous pantheons: Egyptian, Japanese, Greek, Norse, but also deities from other mythologies. At first glance, the title does not look very original and its interface is almost identical to that ofAFK Arena. If the rest of the content is up to the standard of the Lilith Games title I mentioned above, League of Pantheons could prove to be a good choice of game, provided you like mythology.

3️⃣ NetEase's published strategy game LOTR: Rise to War celebrates Yule by offering rewards and events to its players. Discover Bilbo puzzles to solve in solo or co-op on the lore imagined by Tolkien as well as a treasure hunt and even Yule fireworks.

4️⃣ Alchemy Stars is filling up on partnerships and other events, including a collaboration with the manga Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid. In addition, its Alchemy Stars: Sands of Time event invites players to step into the adventures of Bethlehem the Queen of the North for the opportunity to recruit famous Aurorians. Bethlehem and Novio join the roster of available characters while players can use their brains on puzzle and quiz exercises.

5️⃣ Since it's time for financial statements, Niantic is taking the opportunity to reveal all kinds of stats, including on Pikmin Bloom. In fact, we learn that players have taken no less than 338 billion steps and planted about 63 million flowers... since last October alone. That's enough steps to circle the Earth 16,950 times. On the Pokémon GO side, there are an impressive 3.91 billion eggs hatched and 10 billion Pokémon captured during the Community days 2021. With all this, 2.013 million people have walked 5 km or more per day on average while playing Pokémon GO (including GPS cheaters, of course).

6️⃣ With V4 and Blue Archive, Nexon is taking advantage of its success to showcase its future titles, as is the case with Dunpa mobile, which will be released on Android and iOS in 2022. The latter is inspired by Dungeon & Fighter and focuses, like the original, on maximum action. In addition to Dunpa Mobile, this summer we learned that Tales Weaver: Second Run and Mabinogi Mobile will be coming soon.

7️⃣ The sequel/prequel to the Traha license will land on smartphones in the first half of 2022. It's official, Traha Inifinity is in production and its story will take place 200 years before the first installment. At Jeumobi, where many gamers will see excellent 3D graphics and a breathtaking world, we see a big problem with the automatic mode on the horizon like the previous game. However, we hope we are wrong!

8️⃣ On the industry side, NFTs continue to explode and Com2Us presents its metaverse project aka Com2verse. Otherwise, Tower of Fantasy, who already stole content from Honkai Impact, was caught stealing App Store reviews from Genshin Impact with bots. Happy New Year from 2022. 😊
