Mobile Games News Review | Week of 25 to 31 October 2021

Mobile games news recap October n5

Check out the weekly recap of mobile gaming news on Android and iOS for the week of October 25 to 31, 2021! We'll let you discover it all below. ⬇️

1️⃣ The Square Studios family is expanding with Square Enix London Mobile Studios. In partnership with other industry players, the latter is currently developing two main titles: Lara Croft Reloaded and the adaptation of Avatar the Last Airbender. Both are well and truly planned for mobile. So we'll keep you posted on the news of these two games in the coming months.

2️⃣ Good news for dragon lovers! Century Age of Ashes, the dragon fighting game made by people from Bordeaux is planning a mobile port shortly after its PC release. The release of Century of Ashes is not quite detailed but you can find more info on gameplay and game modes in our dedicated article.

3️⃣ The worldwide launch of Pikmin Bloom took place on October 26. Even though all the media seemed to be learning about the gameplay, we had already detailed the content of the game at the beginning of August... It's up to you to discover the new augmented reality game signed by Niantic and to make your Pikmin grow by exploring the world around you.

4️⃣ At the beginning of the month, you discovered with us the trailer of Honkai Star Rail. But we have some news! If you had the opportunity to pre-register for miHoYo's new game, you may have access to the Honkai Star Rail closed beta launched this week. Check your email and, even if you are not one of the selected players, stay tuned for more Honkai news.

5️⃣ Remember our good old animated series Galactic Football? Well, the concept is definitely being taken up by others as we recently learned of the early access release of XF Football Arena. It's a football game with super powers like Inazuma Eleven. Unfortunately, the game still has a long way to go.

6️⃣ What could be more beautiful this Halloween season than remembering the strange movies or concepts that made an impression on us? Being stuck in a game, does that ring a bell? I am of course referring to the release of Jumanji Mobile, another mobile port by Marmalade Studios.

Be sure to check out the latest mobile game releases to see what's new! See you next week for fresh news on your favourite mobile games. 😃
