As part of its second half financial call, Netmarble has revealed plans for a global release for Seven Knights 2. The game is currently only available in Korea, Vietnam and China since November 2020 and has not yet made its way to other countries or continents. In addition, Netmarble Nexus, also in charge of Seven Knights Revolution (exclusive to Japan and Korea), is carrying out its development to ensure the consistency of the different titles in form and content.
Since its beta in 2018, Seven Knights 2 has been able to offer excellent graphics and interesting gameplay to the Asian market. For the record, the game was created on theUnreal Engine 4, the game engine from Epic Games. The game takes the story of the first opus 30 years later and appropriates its style of play with a mix of raids, cinematics, missions and PvP battles. As for the mechanics, you can play as any one of the four characters in your team at a time. As soon as you change, the AI takes over the control of the other three members of the group. The Seven Knights titles are more in the category of mobile strategy RPG games with a PvP focus.
The first title in the series released on mobile has had no less than 10 million downloads on the Playstore. What's more, Netmarble has grown since this release, which is starting to date with big licences like Blade & Soul. So we can only hope that Seven Knights 2 finds its audience in Europe and the rest of the world.
Seven Knights 2 does not yet have a release date. However, this worldwide release should take place in the second half of 2021, before the end of December. As a bonus to this announcement, you can find the Netmarble release schedule with the lineup of its upcoming games.
