Supercell announces the shutdown of Clash Mini... but it will return!

Clash Mini closure announced by Supercell

This is the end. The miniatures are going home and Clash Mini is shutting down. Supercell is bringing this adventure to an end, despite a promising beta and progressive launch. This little UFO of a 1v1 tactical game will have kept players on the edge of their seats for many months. The shutdown is imminent, but it may not be definitive. We tell you all about this mysterious announcement.

Clash Mini's shutdown spells the end of a generation of mobile games

It's all over for Clash Mini. In a dedicated blog post, Supercell addresses its players to announce the shutdown of Clash Mini. The developers thank the community for supporting the title since its beta.

The latest updates to Clash Mini had brought a breath of fresh air to the game, but this was not enough to enable it to meet Supercell's quality criteria.

If you have made in-game purchases, you can contact customer support from your game settings to transfer the value of your purchases to another Supercell live-service game. This includes Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, Boom Beach, Brawl Stars and even Hay Day. The shutdown and shutdown of the Clash Mini servers will take place in 6 weeks time towards the end of April.

The conclusion to this blog post is rather hopeful. The minis are going back in the drawer until the next Rumble, in the Clash Royale Arena. To the question "Will Clash Mini ever come back?", the answer is "One day, just like Clash Royale mode".

There's still some hope!

Clash Mini shutdown confirms curse of Supercell games

With the shutdown of Clash Mini, the curse that sends all Supercell games to the graveyard before their release seems to be confirmed. Every year, the company indicates that it is redoubling its efforts to offer innovative titles that are worthy of their editorial line. Despite this, no game seems to have survived since Brawl Stars, released in 2018 on phone.

Shutdown of Clash Mini and Clash Quest

Of the three games announced as Supercell's new hope several years ago(Clash Mini, Clash Quest and Clash Heroes), only Clash Heroes remains, walled up in deep silence. With the shutdown of Clash Mini, questions are bound to arise. Some claim to have confirmation that Clash Heroes is still well on the way to production, even if the Finnish developers are being discreet on the subject. As a reminder, Clash Heroes has not given any news since 5 November 2021.

However, among the new titles announced, is running a series of tests and trying to redeem Supercell's image among new mobile gamers. The monster-hunting title continues to prove its worth. It will take a lot to make up for the shutdown of the Clash Mini, Clash Quest, and Everdale servers.

Yaya Yaya would never have spent a single cent on a mobile game. At least, that's what the legend says.
