Coca-Cola helps create Wild Rift Esports

Coca Cola and Wild Rift Esports partnership

Althoughesport Wild Rift has been a long time in the making (which seemed to be part of Riot's plan to first take the temperature of the mobile market before embarking on bigger projects, especially in the midst of the epidemic of the last few years), it seems that Riot is bringing its winning formula to the table. Coca-Cola has become a founding member of Wild Rift Esports and is committed to maintaining events and collaborations of all kinds for mobile players.

Coca-Cola and Riot collaborate to found Wild Rift Esports

League of Legends was already supported by Coca Cola, funding that contributed in part to the resounding success of its scene esport. Among the largest in the video game world, the LoL scene served as a model for the Wild Rift scene, which debuted with a first season of tournaments in 2022 in eight regions around the world. The Wild Rift Icons Global Championship finals will be held this summer for the ultimate international showdown to close out the competitive season.

It is therefore only natural to find a renowned partner such as Coca-Cola as a founding member of Wild Rift Esports and sponsor of the game in general.

From now on, the two American companies are linked by a multi-year partnership to develop theesport mobile and bring the community to life... with additional goodies and special events.

If we take the LoL scene as an example, to which Coca-Cola has contributed financially and creatively with customised community experiences in addition to collectibles, we can expect similar community development. We have already heard that Wild Rift-themed content is planned for each week to appeal to mobile gamers.
