8ljaywalking TFT Worlds 2021 champion

TFT World Championship 2021

It took a hair's breadth, or rather a small self-attack, for a Frenchman to be crowned Teamfight Tactics World Champion again. But the RNG gods decided otherwise and it is the Korean player, 8ljaywalking, who wins these TFT 2021 Worlds at the end of the suspense. ZyK0o The Korean player, 8ljaywalking, failed to finish in second place, but can be very proud of his performance. He carried the colours of France and Europe loud and clear during the three days of competition and showed a lot of heart.

Another Frenchman also made it to the final of the tournament. It was Pas de Bol, player of GRIZI Esports. However, the latter did not manage to transcend himself and finished 8th and last in the grand final after a cruel lack of success. The third French player of the competition, Lyyyress , did not manage to pass the cut and was stopped at the doors of the grand final.

South Korea at the top of the TFT Worlds 2021

While South Korea is already raiding international League of Legends competitions, the Land of the Morning Calm may be doing the same to Teamfight Tactics. 8ljaywalking and SCSC, the other Korean in the final, may have been playing from an internet cafe, but they were no amateurs. The world champion won his title by being particularly consistent and imaginative. Almost everyone rushed to play Slayers (Samira-Olaf-Tryndamere) or Dragonsoul (Aurelion Sol-Swain), but he won the decisive game with an elected Kayle. It was a daring move... Since the majority of analysts were decrying this champion since the beginning of the competition. "It's never a Kayle game" they said. Nice revenge for this angel of justice who finally had the last word.

The Korean wins the $41, 500 promised to the winner and can now exult. He's gone and got his win and can now look forward to the next set coming up. This one is set to hit the PBE on April 14 and go live on the 28th.

ZyK0o not far from the heist of the century

The Frenchman ZyK0o finished runner-up in the world championship and was not far from pulling off a rematch worthy of the greatest epics. To reach the grand final, he had to go through two successive tie-breakers during the first two days of competition. Despite this obstacle course, he didn't have a surprise guest complex and played his way into the final.

In the special Championship format, he was the first finalist to pass the fateful 18-point mark. He only needed one last top 1 to be crowned TFT Worlds 2021champion... But he unfortunately missed his two match points.
